Central Wave Brighton is a traditional Grade II listed building located in the New Steine area of Brighton, just moments from the seafront. Due to the historic nature of the property, some accessibility limitations apply.
Getting Here
The property is located at 29–31 New Steine, Brighton, BN2 1PD.Brighton Railway Station is approximately 15–20 minutes’ walk away. Local bus stops are located nearby on Marine Parade and St James’s Street.
Parking
On-street pay and display parking (Zone C) is available nearby. The nearest multi-storey car park is The Lanes Car Park.
Entrance
Access to the property is via 6 external steps.The main entrance door is operated via keypad entry and is manual.
Internal Access
Central Wave does not have a lift.The building has guest accommodation across ground floor and three upper floors, all accessed via traditional staircases.
Reception
We operate a hybrid reception model, combining online support with intermittent on-site reception availability. Staff assistance can be provided when required.
Bedrooms
Some bedrooms are located on the ground floor.Rooms vary in size and layout, and most have en-suite bathrooms. Due to the age and layout of the building, rooms are generally compact.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms include shower facilities or shower over bath. Grab rails are not installed as standard. Guests who require specific bathroom features are encouraged to contact us prior to booking so we can provide accurate information.

Unfortunately, due to the historic structure of the building, the property may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility impairments.
